Hanna & Käthe – Zwei Burgenlandkroatinnen im Widerstand

 

The Burgenland director and writer Peter Wagner, together with the project manager Josko Vlasich, created the film, music and reading performance "Hanna i Käthe" on behalf of the cultural association KUGA and performed it together with musicians and actors from the Burgenland Croatian community. After the successful premiere in the KUGA in November 2018 (which was also recorded with three cameras), individual scenes were filmed again in order to have material available for a later documentation of this work. Public interest in documenting this performance then prompted KUGA to create a DVD from the material.

Der burgenländische Regisseur und Schriftsteller Peter Wagner hat gemeinsam mit dem Projektleiter Josko Vlasich im Auftrag der Kulturvereinigung KUGA die Film-, Musik- und Leseperformance „Hanna i Käthe“ gestaltet und gemeinsam mit Musikern und Akteuren aus der burgenlandkroatischen Community aufgeführt. Nach der erfolgreichen Erstaufführung in der KUGA im November 2018 (die auch mit drei Kameras aufgezeichnet wurde) wurden einzelne Szenen nochmals filmisch aufgenommen, um Material für eine spätere Dokumentation dieser Arbeit zur Verfügung zu haben. Das Interesse der Menschen an einer Dokumentation dieser Aufführung bewog die KUGA dann dazu, eine DVD aus dem Material zu erstellen.
