Description
Multimedia packet on Austrian contemporary history of the 20th century in the form of brochures, a CD Rom with animation, a CD and website. The regional history of the Waldviertel in the 20th century as a reflection of Austrian history. The history spans the Imperial era, the Republic of “Deutschösterreich”, the post-war poverty, the militarization of society, Austrofascism, the rise of the National Socialist party in the Waldviertel, the Anschluss and change of ruler, resettlement policies of the Nazis and the establishment of the military training area Döllersheim, anti-Semitism, resistance and rebuilding and resettling etc.
