Description
AMCHA is the Israeli national center for psychosocial support for Holocaust survivors and the second generation. AMCHA offers a comprehensive network of mental health care and psychosocial support. Currently AMCHA supports 35 Holocaust survivors born in Austria and about 38 additional survivors who were imprisoned in Austria during World War II (Mauthausen and subcamps). The program is conducted both within AMCHA's centers distributed throughout Israel (including Nahariya, Kiryat Motzkin, Haifa, Netanya, Ramat Gan, Tel Aviv, Rehovot, Jerusalem, Ashkelon, Ashdod and Beer Sheva) and at home. In 2020, AMCHA will continue to focus on Austrian survivors in Israel.

AMCHA ist das nationale israelische Zentrum für psychosoziale Unterstützung von Überlebenden des Holocaust und deren zweiter Generation. AMCHA bietet ein umfassendes Netzwerk psychischer Gesundheitsversorgung und psychosoziale Unterstützung. Zur Zeit unterstützt AMCHA 35 in Österreich geborene Holocaust-Überlebende und ungefähr 38 zusätzliche Überlebende, die während des Zweiten Weltkrieges in Österreich inhaftiert waren (Mauthausen und Außenlager). Das Programm wird sowohl innerhalb der Zentren von AMCHA, die in ganz Israel (inklusive Nahariya, Kiryat Motzkin, Haifa, Netanya, Ramat Gan, Tel Aviv, Rehovot, Jerusalem, Ashkelon, Ashdod und Beer Sheva) verteilt sind, als auch zuhause durchgeführt. 2020 wird sich AMCHA auch weiterhin speziell österreichischer Überlebender in Israel annehmen.
