Description
The Wasagymnasium in the 9th district of Vienna celebrates its 150th birthday in 2021. The aim of the project is a commemorative publication. Some of the contributions will be written by graduates who are active in science, culture and politics. There will be a lot of space for research on the fate of the expulsion and the victims of the Shoah at the Wasagymnasium. The Shoah victims among teachers and pupils will be extensively researched, so that the research of 2007 will be continued and completed.

Das Wasagymnasium im 9. Wiener Gemeindebezirk feiert im Jahr 2021 seinen 150. Geburtstag. Ziel des Projekts ist eine Festschrift. Die Beiträge werden zum Teil von AbsolventInnen, die in Wissenschaft, Kultur und Politik tätig sind, selbst verfasst. Breiter Raum wird der Erforschung der Vertreibungsschicksale und der Opfer der Shoah am Wasagymnasium gegeben. Die Opfer der Shoah unter den LehrerInnen und SchülerInnen werden umfassend erforscht, so dass die Recherchen von 2007 weitergeführt und vervollständigt werden.
