Description
The project of around 100 biographical contributions is intended to present a cross-section of Austrians who were active in the French resistance during the German occupation from 1940 to 1945. After completion of the archive work and the source material obtained from it, as well as the production of about 100 biographical contributions by Dr. Hans Schafranek, the following steps are planned to publicize the results of the submitted project: a) Exhibition in the VHS Hietzing and possibly other adult education centres. As a basis for this exhibition about 20 biographies with photos are planned. B) Creation of a small catalogue (brochure) for the exhibition.

Das Projekt von etwa 100 biografischen Beiträgen soll einen Querschnitt der ÖsterreicherInnen präsentieren, die während der deutschen Besatzung von 1940 bis 1945 im französischen Widerstand tätig waren. Nach Abschluss der Archivarbeiten und der daraus gewonnenen Quellengrundlage sowie Erstellung von ca. 100 biografischen Beiträgen durch Dr. Hans Schafranek sind im Zuge des eingereichten Projekts folgende Vermittlungsschritte geplant: a) Ausstellung in der VHS Hietzing und eventuell weiteren Volkshochschulen. Als Grundlage dieser Ausstellung sind etwa 20 Biografien mit Fotos vorgesehen. b) Erstellung eines kleinen Katalogs (Broschüre) zur Ausstellung.
