Description
In 2017, the project "Stones of Remembrance on Westbahnstraße" was implemented in cooperation with the association IG Kaufleute Westbahnstraße and the support of the National Fund. The present project would like to continue and make the background and circumstances from the period 1938-45 more visible. Evelyn Steinthaler has dealt with topics of this era and now offers guided tours in the district. Together with her, a plan is now to be drawn up to learn more about the victims of the Holocaust at various sites of the period 1938-45 using special mobile phone and QR codes.

2017 wurde in Kooperation mit dem Verein IG Kaufleute Westbahnstraße und der Förderung des Nationalfonds das Projekt „Steine der Erinnerung in der Westbahnstraße“ umgesetzt. Das vorliegende Projekt möchte weitergehen und die Hintergründe und Umstände aus der Zeit von 1938–45 sichtbarer machen. Evelyn Steinthaler hat Thematiken dieser Zeit aufgearbeitet und bietet nun Führungen im Bezirk an. Gemeinsam mit ihr soll nun ein Plan erstellt werden, mittels des eigenen Mobiltelefons und QR-Codes mehr über die Opfer des Holocaust an verschiedenen Schauplätzen der Zeit 1938-45 zu erfahren.
