Project

Description

In commemoration of Austria's "Anschluss" to the German Reich 75 years ago and thus the beginning of Nazi rule, an extensive documentation with 703 pages was published in 2013. The project aims to supplement the book "Farbe tragen - Farbe bekennen 1938-1945. Katholische Korporierte in Widerstand und Verfolgung" (Wearing Color - Professing Color 1938-1945. Catholic Corporates in Resistance and Persecution), which was already published in 2013. To the 543 biographies of the victims of National Socialism among the Catholic Corporates of Austria recorded at that time, a further 130 victims have since been found and additions or, in a few cases, corrections have also been made to 260 already existing biographies.
