Karl Pfeifer was born in 1928 in Baden near Vienna and, as he was Jewish, had to flee to Hungary at the age of 10. Four years later, he fled to Palestine and in 1948 he fought in the Israeli War of Independence. In 1951 he returned to Austria and since then has lived, with a few intermissions, in Vienna. In the late 1970s, Karl Pfeifer began to work as a journalist, which he continues to do today. The film has already been shown in several cinemas in Austria and Germany and was positively received. There is a homepage for the film, where published reviews can also be found. As inquiries are increasing being received from abroad, for example from Israel and Hungary, the film team wants to subtitle the film with the smallest budget possible.

Karl Pfeifer wird 1928 in Baden bei Wien geboren und muss aufgrund seiner jüdischen Herkunft als 10-jähriger nach Ungarn fliehen. Vier Jahre später flieht er nach Palästina und kämpft 1948 im Unabhängigkeitskrieg Israels. 1951 kehrt er nach Österreich zurück und lebt seither mit Unterbrechungen in Wien. Ende der 70er Jahre beginnt Karl Pfeifer als Journalist zu arbeiten, jene Tätigkeit, die er bis heute ausübt. Der Film wurde bereits in mehreren Kinos in Österreich und Deutschland gezeigt und wurde positiv aufgenommen. Es gibt eine Film-Homepage, auf der auch die publizierten Film-Rezensionen dokumentiert sind. Da sich Anfragen aus dem Ausland häufen, den Film auch beispielsweise in Ungarn und in Israel zu zeigen, will das Filmteam mit einem möglichst geringen Budget eine englische Untertitelung in die Wege leiten.
