Description
The aim of the project is to develop an overall educational concept for the digital edition of the estate of conscientious objector Franz Jägerstätter (1907–1943) and to develop didactic materials for school and non-school target groups. The project takes into account the low-threshold accessibility (open access) of the online edition and the new educational and didactic perspectives made possible by the digital processing of the entire estate. The project is accompanied by a professional publication, in which the project team scientifically illuminates the educational potential of the biography and edition of Franz Jägerstätter for various educational contexts, with best-practice examples and didactic materials.

Ziel des Projekts sind die Erstellung eines pädagogischen Gesamtkonzepts für die digitale Edition des Nachlasses des Wehrdienstverweigerers Franz Jägerstätter (1907–1943) und die Erarbeitung didaktischer Materialien für schulische und außerschulische Zielgruppen. Das Projekt berücksichtigt die niederschwellige Zugänglichkeit (open access) der Online-Edition und die neuen pädagogischen und didaktischen Perspektiven, die durch die digitale Aufarbeitung des Gesamtnachlasses ermöglicht werden. Das Projekt wird von einer Fachpublikation, in der das Projektteam wissenschaftlich das pädagogische Potenzial der Biografie und Edition Franz Jägerstätter für verschiedene Bildungskontexte beleuchtet, mit best-practice-Beispielen und didaktischen Materialien begleitet.
