Description
“The Exile of the Musicians” is a documentary that portrays the lives of over a hundred musicians exiled from Austria and Germany who arrived in Argentina between 1933 and 1945. Most of them were Jewish. Although they were not all born in Austria or Germany, all of them had studied, educated themselves and started their careers in these two countries.

„Das Exil der Musiker“ ist eine Dokumentation, die den Lebenslauf von über hundert aus Österreich und Deutschland ins Exil gegangenen MusikerInnen schildert, die zwischen 1933 und 1945 nach Argentinien gekommen sind. Die meisten von ihnen waren JudenInnen. Zwar sind sie nicht alle in Österreich oder Deutschland geboren, aber alle hatten in diesen beiden Ländern studiert, sich fortgebildet und ihre Laufbahnen begonnen.
