Description
Within the framework of this project, the Psychosocial Centre ESRA cares for elderly former victims of the Nazi regime living in Austria today who suffer from a severe chronic or life-threatening illness in their twilight years. In many cases, the team of the Psychosocial Centre ESRA already knows these patients from the time before they became severely ill and can therefore support the patients accordingly and address these very specific symptoms in therapy.

Im Rahmen dieses Projektes betreut das Psychosoziale Zentrum ESRA jene heute in Österreich lebenden, hoch betagten ehemaligen Opfer des NS-Regimes, bei denen in ihrer letzten Lebensphase eine schwere chronische oder lebensbedrohende Krankheit auftritt. Das Team des Psychosozialen Zentrums ESRA kennt diese PatientInnen in sehr vielen Fällen bereits aus der Zeit vor ihrer schweren Erkrankung und kann so die PatientInnen entsprechend stützen und in der Therapie auf diese ganz spezielle Symptomatik eingehen.
