Project
Description
For 2022/2023, Centropa plans to continue providing social assistance and holding book drives, meetings for coffee and cake, meetings with students, cultural events and celebrating traditional Jewish festivals. The meetings that take place have a very high value in the lives of the senior citizen survivors. They are held both at the kosher restaurant Alef Alef and at the community centre of the Jewish Community Vienna as well as, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, in warm weather in the guest gardens of Viennese restaurants that meet the needs of the elderly.

Für 2022/2023 plant Centropa weiterhin soziale Hilfestellung, Büchersendungen, Treffen zu Café und Kuchen, Begegnungen mit SchülerInnen, kulturelle Veranstaltungen sowie das Feiern der traditionellen jüdischen Feste. Die stattfindenden Treffen haben einen sehr hohen Stellenwert im Leben der überlebenden SeniorInnen. Durchgeführt werden sie sowohl im koscheren Restaurant Alef Alef als auch im Gemeindezentrum der IKG Wien sowie bedingt durch die Covid-19-Pandemie bei warmem Wetter in Gastgärten von Wiener Lokalen, die den Bedürfnissen der älteren Menschen entsprechen.
