Description
AMCHA is the Israeli national centre for psychosocial support for Holocaust survivors and the second generation. AMCHA provides a comprehensive network of mental health care and psychosocial support. A comprehensive network of mental health care and psychosocial support includes psychotherapy, community psychosocial support clubs, therapeutic home interventions by professional social workers and home visits by supervised volunteers. The programme is implemented both within AMCHA's centres spread throughout Israel (including Nahariya, Kiryat Motzkin, Haifa, Netanya, Ramat Gan, Tel Aviv, Rehovot, Jerusalem, Ashkelon, Ashdod and Beer Sheva) and at home. In 2022, AMCHA should also be able to continue to specifically take care of Austrian survivors in Israel.

AMCHA ist das nationale israelische Zentrum für psychosoziale Unterstützung von Überlebenden des Holocaust und deren zweiter Generation. AMCHA bietet ein umfassendes Netzwerk psychischer Gesundheitsversorgung und psychosoziale Unterstützung. Ein umfassendes Netzwerk an psychischer Gesundheitsversorgung und psychosozialer Unterstützung umfasst Psychotherapie, Klubs zur psychosozialen Unterstützung der Gemeinschaft, therapeutische Maßnahmen zu Hause durch professionelle SozialarbeiterInnen und Hausbesuche von beaufsichtigten Freiwilligen.
