Description
Currently, Yad Vashem continues to collect documents from the People's Court; these provide a comprehensive picture of persecution in Austria and give insights into court proceedings against individuals. Another very large collection is that of the Nazi Reich Office for Geneaology. The collection contains important Jewish genealogical records. A classification of this collection with regard to genealogical records for verification of heritiage is still being carried out. Yad Vashem has begun processing the collection of the City School Board.

Aktuell sammelt Yad Vashem weiterhin Dokumente vom Volksgericht; diese vermitteln ein umfassendes Bild der Verfolgung in Österreich und geben Einblicke in Gerichtsverfahren gegen Einzelpersonen. Eine weitere sehr große Sammlung stellt die des NS-Gauamts für Sippenforschung dar. Die Sammlung enthält wichtige jüdische genealogische Aufzeichnungen. Eine Gliederung dieser Sammlung bezüglich Abstammungsnachweises zur Abstammungsprüfung wird noch durchgeführt. Yad Vashem hat mit der Bearbeitung der Sammlung des Stadtschulrats begonnen.
