Efforts continue to focus on educational work and creating opportunities for cultural activities. Singing and playing are indispensable for the development and continued existence of the Slovene ethnic group under the Mittagskogel on the lake Faaker See. The association wants to send a dominant and distinctive as well as valuable signal. On 15 April 1942, 25 Carinthian Slovene families from the area currently covered by the association were expelled from their homes and farms and forcibly resettled in Germany, where they lived for more than three years under inhuman conditions and had to perform forced labour. The aim of the project is to dedicate a memorial stele to these families, designed by the artist Valentin Oman: made of Krastal marble with sandblasted lettering.

Das Zentrale Bemühen sind nach wie vor die Bildungsarbeit und Schaffung von Möglichkeiten für kulturelle Aktivitäten. Das Singen und das Spielen stellen unverzichtbare Kostbarkeiten für die Entwicklung und den Fortbestand der slowenischen Volksgruppe unter dem Mittagskogel am Faaker See dar. Der Verein will ein dominantes und markantes sowie kostbares Zeichen setzen. Am 15. April 1942 wurden 25 Kärntner slowenische Familien aus dem jetzigen Vereinsbereich aus ihren Häusern und Höfen vertrieben und nach Deutschland zwangsausgesiedelt, wo sie mehr als drei Jahre unter unmenschlichen Bedingungen lebten und Zwangsarbeit leisten mussten. Ziel des Projekts ist es, diesen Familien eine Erinnerungs-Stele zu widmen, die vom Künstler Valentin Oman gestaltet wird: aus Krastaler Marmor mit sandgestrahlter Schrift.
