Description
The Baranka Park ceremony will both commemorate the victims and celebrate the life and culture of the Roma and Sinti as well as Jewish and Viennese culture. The Baranka Park remenrance ceremony will be organised and implemented for the 14th time by the Voice of Diversity Association on 20 May 2022 with the aim of reminding the public of the Roma and Sinti who were deported by the Nazi regime in 1941 and to set a sign against forgetting.

Mit der Baranka-Park-Feier wird einerseits der Opfer gedacht und andererseits auch Leben und Kultur der Roma und Sinti sowie die jüdische und Wiener Kultur gefeiert. Die Baranka-Park-Gedenkfeier wird am 20. Mai 2022 zum 14. Mal vom Verein Voice of Diversity organisiert und umgesetzt mit dem Ziel, die Öffentlichkeit an die Roma und Sinti, die vom NS-Regime im Jahr 1941 verschleppt worden sind, zu erinnern und ein Zeichen gegen das Vergessen zu setzen.
