Description
The planned publication has approx. 400 pages and, in addition to a scholarly appraisal of the two galleries, also includes extensive photographic material by Peter Baum, Kristian Bissuti, Lisl Ponger, Karin Mack and Elfi Tripamer-Pichler. The photos, posters, artist and exhibition documentation – including the archives of the gallery owners Kurt Kalb and Peter Allmayer-Beck – provide new and never-before-published insights into the art scene in Vienna in the 1970s.

Die geplante Publikation hat ca. 400 Seiten und umfasst neben einer wissenschaftlichen Aufarbeitung der beiden Galerien auch umfangreiches Bildmaterial von Peter Baum, Kristian Bissuti, Lisl Ponger, Karin Mack und Elfi Tripamer-Pichler. Mit den Fotos, Plakaten, Künstler- und Ausstellungsdokumentationen – unter Einbeziehung des Archivs der Galeristen Kurt Kalb und Peter Allmayer-Beck – werden neue und noch nie publizierte Einblicke in den Kunstbetrieb der 1970er-Jahre in Wien gegeben.
