July 1942: Irma Schwager and Irma Mico are 22 and 28 years old respectively. As Jewish communists, they play a strategic role in the resistance against the Nazi occupation and the Vichy regime in Paris. As part of the conspiratorial group “T.A.”, to which about 15 young women belong in Paris, they seek direct contact with soldiers of the Wehrmacht and play a dangerous game between seduction and political persuasion. Their aim is to destabilise the German troops in Paris and to persuade army personnel to desert. Not only are their first names the same, their stories are also amazingly similar. The aim of the project is to produce the international version for broadcast in English-speaking countries, screening at international festivals and in Israel. For this, it is necessary to translate the dialogues, which are partly in French and partly in German in the film, into English, which also makes sense with regard to archiving in the Israeli memorial Yad Vashem.

Juli 1942. Irma Schwager und Irma Mico sind 22 bzw. 28 Jahre alt. Als jüdische Kommunistinnen spielen sie in Paris eine strategische Rolle im Widerstand gegen die Nazi-Besatzung und das Vichy-Regime. Im Rahmen der konspirativen Gruppe „T.A.“, der in Paris etwa 15 junge Frauen angehören, suchen sie den direkten Kontakt zu Soldaten der Wehrmacht und treiben ein gefährliches Spiel zwischen Verführung und politischer Überzeugungsarbeit. Ihr Ziel ist es, die deutschen Truppen in Paris zu destabilisieren und Heeresangehörige zur Desertation zu bewegen. Nicht nur ihre Vornamen sind dieselben, auch ihre Geschichten ähneln einander auf verblüffende Weise. Ziel des Projekts ist die Herstellung der internationalen Fassung für die Ausstrahlung in englischsprachigen Ländern, die Vorführung auf internationalen Festivals sowie in Israel. Hierfür ist es notwendig, die Dialoge, die im Film teils auf Französisch, teils auf Deutsch geführt werden, ins Englische zu übersetzen, was auch in Hinblick auf die Archivierung in der israelischen Gedenkstätte Yad Vashem sinnvoll ist.
