Description
The Austrian Society for Exile Research will dedicate its annual conference in 2023 to the role and significance of exile in Austria during the interwar period. Beyond the concrete contexts and experiences of exile, the larger historical contexts, especially in relation to the Nazi regime, will be addressed and references will also be made to the present.

Die Österreichische Gesellschaft für Exilforschung widmet ihre Jahrestagung 2023 der Rolle und Bedeutung des Exils im Österreich der Zwischenkriegszeit, wobei über die konkreten Kontexte und Exilerfahrungen hinaus die größeren historischen Zusammenhänge, insbesondere in Bezug auf das NS-Regime, thematisiert und Bezüge auch in die Gegenwart gespannt werden sollen.
