In order to mark the anniversary of the November pogroms, on 9 November 2009 ESRA organized a commemorative performance of the children’s opera Brundibár in the Theater Akzent. This performance was intended to remember people in Theresienstadt, above all children. There were also many Austrians among them. Moreover, there were two performances exclusively for school classes. In order to prepare the children, ESRA offered an educational program comprising an informative event for teachers, material for lessons and 1-hour workshops for the school classes.

Anlässlich des Jahrestages des Novemberpogroms hat ESRA am 9. November 2009 eine Gedenkveranstaltung der Kinderoper Brundibár im Theater Akzent organisiert. Mit dieser Aufführung soll der Menschen in Theresienstadt, vor allem der Kinder, gedacht werden. Unter ihnen waren auch viele Österreicher und Österreicherinnen. Weiters wird es zwei Aufführungen ausschließlich für Schulklassen geben. Zur Vorbereitung der Jugendlichen bietet ESRA ein Vermittlungsprogramm an, das aus einer Informationsveranstaltung für PädagogInnen, Material für den Unterricht sowie 1-stündigen Workshops für SchülerInnen in der Klasse besteht.
