Description
In the week of 16 May 2023 to 23 May 2023, the Exile Association together with the Austrian Students’ Union for Roma and Romany (HÖR) is planning a series of commemorative events on the Roma uprising in Auschwitz-Birkenau on 16 May 1944 and events remembering the genocide of Roma by the Nazis on Ceija-Stojka -Platz and the Amerlinghaus.

In der Woche von 16. Mai 2023 bis 23. Mai 2023 plant der Verein Exil zusammen mit der Österreichischen Hochschülerschaft für Romija und Roma (HÖR) eine Serie von Gedenkveranstaltungen zum Aufstand der Roma in Auschwitz-Birkenau am 16. Mai 1944 und Veranstaltungen zum Gedenken an den Völkermord an den Roma durch die Nazis am Ceija-Stojka-Platz und im Amerlinghaus.
