Description
The entire activities of the Voice of Diversity association and projects in 2023 will focus on the anniversary of “30 years of recognition of Roma in Austria”. To mark this anniversary, the project will take place this year as a 3-day series of events. As a kick-off event on 7 April, there will be a reception at which the association will have the opportunity to thank all public institutions, artists, authors, public figures, civil society actors and politicians for their commitment and contribution to bettering the situation of the Roma ethnic group. A panel discussion is planned for 8 April, followed by a commemorative concert at Porgy & Bess on 9 April.

Die gesamte Vereinstätigkeit des Vereins Voice of Diversity und Projekte im Jahr 2023 stehen im Zeichen des Jubiläums "30 Jahre Anerkennung der Roma in Österreich". Anlässlich dieses Jubiläums findet das Projekt heuer als 3-tägige Veranstaltungsreihe statt. Als Auftaktveranstaltung am 7. April wird es einen Empfang geben, bei dem der Verein die Gelegenheit haben wird, sich bei allen öffentlichen Einrichtungen, Künstler*innen, Autor*innen, Persönlichkeiten des öffentlichen Lebens, Akteur*innen der Zivilgesellschaft und Politiker*innen für deren Engagement und Beitrag für die bessere Lage der Volksgruppe der Roma herzlich zu bedanken. Am 8. April ist eine Podiumsdiskussion geplant, anschließend findet am 9. April ein Gedenkkonzert im Porgy & Bess statt.
