The Association for Active Remembrance and Culture of Remembrance APC (Alpine Peace Crossing) is an Austrian association based in Krimml (Salzburg), which was initiated to commemorate the long-forgotten escape of Jews across the Austrian Alps in 1947. The 5th issue of the annual magazine Alpendistel deals with both the February battles of 1934 and the May Constitution of the same year, which finalised the transition from democracy to dictatorship in legal terms. The magazine will also take an in-depth look at Jewish life during the Austrofascist era. The association and the editorial team want the magazine to make a valuable, low-threshold contribution to remembrance work in Austria.

Der Verein für aktive Gedenk- und Erinnerungskultur APC (Alpine Peace Crossing) ist ein österreichischer Verein mit Sitz in Krimml (Salzburg), der initiiert wurde, um an die lange vergessene Flucht von Jüdinnen und Juden über die österreichischen Alpen 1947 zu erinnern. Die 5. Ausgabe des Jahresmagazins Alpendistel beschäftigt sich sowohl mit den Februarkämpfe von 1934 als auch der Maiverfassung desselben Jahres, mit welcher der Übergang von der Demokratie in die Diktatur auch legistisch finalisiert wurde. Das Magazin wird auch das jüdische Leben zu Zeiten des Austrofaschismus intensiv beleuchten. Der Verein sowie das Redaktionsteam wollen mit dem Magazin einen wertvollen, niederschwelligen Beitrag für die Erinnerungsarbeit in Österreich leisten.
