Description
For the project "Dave Fox – From Praterstraße to LA", the pictures of the artist Dave Fox, who was born in Vienna in 1920 and fled the Nazis to the USA in 1938, were exhibited in the gallery “Aktionsradius Augarten” in the 2nd District. Dave Fox flew in from LA for the opening and told of his life in Vienna, Leopoldstadt and his persecution by the National Socialist regime.

Beim Projekt „Dave Fox – From Praterstraße to LA“ werden die Bilder des 1920 in Wien geborenen und 1938 vor den Nazis in die USA geflüchteten Malers Dave Fox in der Galerie „Aktionsradius Augarten“ im 2. Bezirk ausgestellt. Dave Fox wird zur Eröffnung der Ausstellung selbst aus Los Angeles anreisen und über sein Leben in Wien Leopoldstadt und die Verfolgung durch das nationalsozialistische Regime erzählen.
