„Die Gläserne Wand“ - Antisemitismus im Wandel der Zeit am Beispiel österreichischer jüdischer Erfahrungswelten. Eine immersiv-dokumentarische Audio-Porträtserie in 5 Episoden.

 

“The Glass Wall” is a mixture of narrated memories in radio play form and subsequent dialogue with a presenter. In addition to multimedia storytelling using radio plays, dialogue and photography, “The Glass Wal” stands out through the use of an innovative, performative concept: the documentary story about antisemitism in everyday life is first performed by professional speakers in the radio play part of the episodes. The result is an artistic mediation format that both educates about antisemitism and offers high entertainment value through captivating performances by the speakers. The documentary short stories are followed by a transition into a dialogue between a real affected person and the presenter. In this second part, key points of the story are reflected upon and placed in a contemporary context. Each of the five planned episodes is produced in a compact form, approx. 25-30 minutes, and conveys what has been described in a flowing narrative.

„Die Gläserne Wand“ ist eine Mischung aus erzählter Erinnerung in Hörspielform und anschließendem Dialog mit einem Moderator. Neben dem multimedialen Storytelling mittels Hörspiel, Dialog wie auch Photografie sticht „Die Gläserne Wand“ durch Einsatz eines innovativen, performativen Konzeptes heraus: Die dokumentarische Geschichte über Antisemitismus im Alltag wird im Hörspielteil der Episoden zunächst von professionellen Sprecher:innen vorgetragen. Es entsteht ein künstlerisches Vermittlungsformat, das sowohl über Antisemitismus aufklärt als auch durch fesselnde Darbietungen der Sprecher:innen hohen Unterhaltungswert bieten. Im Anschluss an die dokumentarischen Kurzgeschichten leitet ein Übergang in einen Dialog zwischen echter betroffener Person und Moderator. In diesem zweiten Teil werden Kernpunkte der Geschichte reflektiert und in einen heutigen Kontext gesetzt. Jede der fünf geplanten Episoden ist kompakt produziert, ca. 25-30 Minuten, und überliefert das Beschriebene in einem fließenden Narrativ.
