Description
With the play “The Pink Triangle”, the Vienna-based theatre company Nesterval, which won the Nestroy Prize in 2020, explores the persecution and murder of homosexual people during the Nazi era, thus deepening the artistic focus on Austria’s reappraisal of history and culture of remembrance set in spring 2023.

Mit dem Theaterstück „Der rosa Winkel“ setzt sich die in Wien ansässige und 2020 mit dem Nestroypreis ausgezeichnete Theaterformation Nesterval mit der Verfolgung und Ermordung homosexueller Menschen während der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus auseinander und vertieft damit den im Frühling 2023 gesetzten künstlerischen Schwerpunkt zur österreichischen Geschichtsaufarbeitung und Erinnerungskultur.
