In his book, “Hitler’s long shadow”, the writer investigates the long term effects of the National Socialist dictatorship with relation to “Wiedergutmachung” both in the post-war years and the present. He deals with the question of why European tax payers and companies have to pay for crimes which took place over 50 years ago which they, for the most part, didn’t commit. With the help of politics, lawyers, and money, an attempt is made to create justice; to practice “Wiedergutmachung” for the central theme of the modern age, the genocide.

In seinem Buch 'Hitlers langer Schatten' untersucht der Verfasser die Langzeitfolgen der NS-Diktatur in Bezug auf die 'Wiedergutmachung', sowohl in der Zeit nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg, als auch in der Gegenwart. Er beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, warum europäische Steuerzahler und Unternehmen für Verbrechen, die mehr als fünfzig Jahre zurückliegen, und die sie in den meisten Fällen nicht verursacht haben, bezahlen. Mit Hilfe von Politik, Gerichten, Anwälten und Geld wird der Versuch unternommen, Gerechtigkeit zu schaffen, 'Wiedergutmachung' zu üben für das zentrale Thema der Moderne, den Völkermord.
