The film, La Mémoire des Enfants, the subject of which is the individual fates of Jewish children under the Vichy regime, has been successfully shown at 20 film festival in 8 countries since 2007 and received a lot of attention, especially in France. This film was to be shown in German in schools throughout Austria as part of a traveling exhibition on the French children’s home Izieu, from where 44 children were deported and murdered in Auschwitz. Among other things the film describes how Austrians met in France between 1942 and 1944, both from the side of the victims and the perpetrators.

Der Film La Mémoire des Enfants, der Einzelschicksale jüdischer Kinder unter dem Vichy-Regime thematisiert, wurde seit 2007 erfolgreich auf 20 Filmfestivals in 8 Ländern gezeigt und hat vor allem in Frankreich für viel Aufsehen gesorgt. Dieser Film soll als deutsche Fassung im Rahmen einer Wanderausstellung über das französische Kinderheim Izieu, aus dem 44 Kinder deportiert und in Auschwitz ermordet wurden, in Schulen in ganz Österreich gezeigt. Der Film schildert unter anderem, wie Österreicher/innen einander zwischen 1942 und 1944 sowohl auf Opfer- als auch auf Täterseite in Frankreich begegnet sind.
