Description

Interactive workshops for pupils in grades 5-10 from all types of schools as part of the “Peace Weeks” violence prevention programme at the “Austrian Study Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution - ASPR Schlaining”. Focussing on the Second World War, the main topic is the “Holocaust” or the “Shoah”, the genocide of the Jews in the “Third Reich” by the Nazis. Hatred - marginalisation - disenfranchisement - persecution - deportation - mass murder: behind these buzzwords stood the incomprehensible fates of millions of people. How did this happen? What happened? Who were the perpetrators? Who were the victims? How did the world continue to turn afterwards?

Was ist passiert? Wer waren die Täter? Wer waren die Opfer? Wie konnte die Welt sich danach weiterdrehen?
