Description

From 1 September to 11 October 2009, the traveling exhibition, "What was legal then…" - Soldiers and Civilians before the Courts of the German Armed Forces, originally created in Germany could be seen for the first time in Austria in Vienna. With 6,000 visitors and 95 guided tours, Vienna set a record in a running time of only 6 weeks, after having displayed in 16 locations in Germany. In fall 2010, this exhibition was also presented in Carinthia. Several adaptations were necessary.

Von 1. September bis 11. Oktober 2009 war in Wien – und damit erstmals in Österreich – die ursprünglich in Deutschland kuratierte Wanderausstellung „‚Was damals Recht war‘ … – Soldaten und Zivilisten vor Gerichten der Wehrmacht“ zu sehen. Was die Besucherzahl betrifft, erreichte Wien mit über 6.000 BesucherInnen und 95 Führungen in nur sechswöchiger Laufzeit gegenüber den bisherigen 15 Ausstellungsorten in Deutschland einen Rekord. Diese Ausstellung soll im Herbst 2010 nun auch in Kärnten präsentiert werden. Dafür sind einige Adaptionen notwendig.
