The project aims to raise awareness of National Socialist atrocities and promote remembrance of Holocaust victims through music. The focus is on compositions by Jewish artists, as well as works created during or in connection with the Holocaust. The repertoire includes pieces by Ilse Weber, an Austrian-born composer who was murdered in Auschwitz, and Gideon Klein, a composer who died in the Fürstengrube concentration camp. The album also features two pieces by Elaine Fine, a composer who lived in Schladming for many years and whose work is deeply influenced by her Jewish heritage.

Das Projekt hat zum Ziel, das Bewusstsein für die Gräueltaten des Nationalsozialismus zu schärfen und das Gedenken an die Opfer des Holocaust durch Musik zu fördern. Im Zentrum stehen Kompositionen von jüdischen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern sowie Werke, die während oder im Zusammenhang mit dem Holocaust komponiert wurden. Das Repertoire umfasst unter anderem Musik der in Österreich geborenen Komponistin Ilse Weber, die im KZ Auschwitz ermordet wurde, sowie des Komponisten Gideon Klein, der im KZ Fürstengrube ums Leben kam. Ergänzt wird das Album um zwei Werke der Komponistin Elaine Fine, die lange in Schladming lebte und deren Kompositionen in ihrer jüdischen Vergangenheit verwurzelt sind.
