Project

Description

TransBorders was a project for young people between 16 and 19 living in the border region between Austria and the Czech Republic. The project was designed for around 250 participants. The young people were brought closer to the events under National Socialism through various project activities, particularly using the life story of Anne Frank and her diary. The participants were then introduced to the values of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations and the European Convention on Human Rights in direct connection to Anne Frank's story and their implementation in democratic societies.
