In the project, the mosaic stones of information of the biography of the Viennese philosopher Amalia Rosenblüth collected over the years are united and inserted into the social and cultural surroundings from the turn of the century to the post-war period. Important stages in the educational history of Women, in Jewish history and also particularly the history of migration in the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, the history of science and finally the National Socialist persecution and its effects on the individual and collectively are discussed. This book is not intended to make people aware of the prominent political, literary and scientific figures forced into exile but rather the "common" exile, the flight and expulsion of the "man on the street" who was in most cases also not wanted in his country of destination.

Im geplanten Projekt sollen die über Jahre gesammelten Mosaiksteine zur Biografie der Wiener Philosophin Amalia Rosenblüth zusammengeführt und in das soziokulturelle Umfeld – von der Jahrhundertwende bis in die Nachkriegszeit – eingefügt werden. Dabei werden wichtige Etappen der Bildungsgeschichte von Frauen, der jüdischen Geschichte, insbesondere auch der Migrationsgeschichte in der k.k. Monarchie, der Wissenschaftsgeschichte sowie schließlich die nationalsozialistische Verfolgung und deren individuelle wie kollektive Auswirkungen erörtert. Ins Bewusstsein gelangen soll dabei weniger die politische, literarische und wissenschaftliche Prominenz des Exils, sondern das „gewöhnliche“ Exil, die Flucht und Vertreibung der „kleinen Leute“, welche auch in den potentiellen Aufnahmeländern zumeist unerwünscht waren.
