Description

The Association of Austrian Pensioners in Israel holds a club for former Austrians living in Israel. In September 2003, the club celebrated its 1st anniversary. This establishment has proved to be successful and is sought out twice a week by around 70 people, a trend that is increasing. Loneliness and resurfacing of old forgotten suffering in old age is improved by social contact. The association considered it necessary to extend the social work carried out by the club. Advice on nutrition and medical services were also to be provided in the club.
