Lambergstollen – Stollen der Erinnerung Steyr, Teilprojekt „Ausstellungsgestaltung“

 

An exhibition on the satellite concentration camp Steyr-Münichholz and the forced laborers in the Steyr armaments industry was held in the network of tunnels under Castle Lamberg in the town center. The exhibition followed a circular route beginning with the Anschluss 1938 and ending with the liberation in 1945. The fates of the concentration camp prisoners and forced laborers formed the focus. The educational station at the end of the exhibition served as a bridge to the present.

In der Stollenanlage unter dem Schloss Lamberg im Stadtzentrum von Steyr soll eine Ausstellung über das KZ-Nebenlager Steyr-Münichholz und über die Zwangsarbeiter in der Steyrer Rüstungsindustrie entstehen. Die Ausstellung ist als Rundweg konzipiert, beginnt mit dem Anschluss 1938 und endet mit der Befreiung 1945. Im Zentrum steht das Schicksal der KZ-Häftlinge und der Zwangsarbeiter. Die pädagogische Station am Ende der Ausstellung soll die Brücke zu heute bieten.
