In fall 2011 the traveling exhibition “What was legal then…” will be shown in Dornbirn. It was developed by the foundation “Memorial for Europe’s murdered Jews for Germany”, updated by the association “Justice for the Victims of Nazi Court Martial” and examples from Vorarlberg were added. The exhibition remembers over 20,000 soldiers and civilians from all over Europe who were murdered due to unlawful verdicts by the Armed Forces court martial. With the “Recognition and Rehabilitation Act”, enacted on 1 December 2009, the Republic of Austria rescinded all guilty verdicts of Nazi court martials and officially declared desertion to be an act of resistance.

Im Herbst 2011 wurde die Wanderausstellung „Was damals Recht war…“ in Dornbirn gezeigt. Sie wurde von der Stiftung „Denkmal für die ermordeten Juden Europas für Deutschland“ entwickelt, durch den Verein Personenkomitee „Gerechtigkeit für die Opfer der NS-Militärjustiz“ für Österreich aktualisiert, und mit Vorarlberger Beispielen ergänzt. Die Ausstellung erinnert an weit mehr als 20.000 Soldaten und Zivilisten aus nahezu ganz Europa, die durch Unrechtsurteile der Wehrmachtsgerichte getötet wurden. Mit dem "Anerkennungs- und Rehabilitationsgesetz", das am 1. Dezember 2009 in Kraft getreten ist, hob die Republik Österreich die Urteile der NS-Militärjustiz pauschal auf und erkannte Desertion ausdrücklich als Akt des Widerstandes.
