The House of Austrian History offers a fresh take on contemporary history in its exhibition, 'Tune in! Austria in Between Propaganda and Protest'. Media-supported workshops allow young people to explore the political nature of sound recordings. The focus is on the Nazi era, exploring themes of exclusion, polarisation, and civil courage in the past and present. In an era of disinformation and social media, what role do independent reporting and diverse perspectives play in our democracy?

Das Haus der Geschichte Österreich bietet mit der Ausstellung „Es funkt! Österreich zwischen Propaganda und Protest“ einen neuen Zugang zur Zeitgeschichte. In medienunterstützten Workshops wird Jugendlichen ermöglicht, die politische Dimension von Tonaufnahmen zu erleben. Der Fokus liegt auf NS-Zeit und Fragen zu Ausgrenzung, Polarisierung und Zivilcourage damals und heute.
