The 10th Central Seminar was held from 10 to 12 November 2011 at the Hotel Ibis Linz and at the Mauthausen memorial. Around 120 teachers and academics from the field of adult education and youth work participated in the conference. This year focused on getting to know a new educational concept which was developed at the former concentration camp Mauthausen for students and teachers in order to make learning at a memorial site more successful.

Das 10. Zentrale Seminar fand vom 10. bis 12. November 2011 im Hotel Ibis in Linz sowie in der Gedenkstätte Mauthausen statt. An ihm nahmen ca. 120 Lehrer/innen sowie in der Erwachsenenbildung bzw. freien Jugendarbeit Tätige und WissenschafterInnen teil. In diesem Jahr ging es insbesondere um das Kennenlernen des neuen Vermittlungskonzepts, welches im ehemaligen KZ-Mauthausen für SchülerInnen und LehrerInnen entwickelt wurde, um das Gelingen von Lernen in einer Gedenkstätte zu verbessern.
