Description

In the archives of the Ghetto Fighters’ Museum there are over 100,000 original documents on the fate of the Austrian Jews in the Holocaust. The applicant would like to digitize the entire collection of Austrian archival material and archive it on microfilm. In addition, the documents in the online archive of the Ghetto Fighters’ Museum shall be made available to the public. In addition, the Museum wishes to produce a printed catalogue for those who are not in a position to use the internet.

In den Archiven des Ghetto Fighters Museum gibt es über 100.000 Originalurkunden mit dem Schicksal von österreichischem Juden im Holocaust. Der Antragsteller möchte die gesamte Ansammlung des österreichischen archivarischen Materials digitalisieren und auf Mikrofilm archivieren. Darüber hinaus sollen die Dokumente im online Archiv des Ghetto Fighters Museum öffentlich zugänglich gemacht werden. Zusätzlich möchte das Museum einen gedruckten Katalog für diejenigen produzieren, die nicht im Stande sind, das Internet zu nutzen.
