Description
The graphic novel Vogelglück (“Bird Happiness”) will be published this year by the German publishing house moloko print and will comprise around 240 pages. The content focuses on the life of Ida Maly, a painter. She was murdered in Hartheim/Linz as part of the Nazi “euthanasia” programme. The more than 130 originals, predominantly black-and-white ink drawings in DIN A2 format, are to be displayed in exhibitions at memorial sites in Austria.
As part of the concept for the presentation and presentation forms of the graphic novel, the material will be adapted into a musical drama radio play. The musical drama radio play of the graphic novel version will be created with the theatre group “Rabtaldirndln”, Monika Klenkel (radio play director) and Michael Eisl and Roman Klug as composers, as well as the Schallfeld ensemble for the recording. This musical drama version will then be made available as a multimedia exhibition, as a (radio) radio play and/or integrated into an e-book.

Die Graphic Novel „Vogelglück“ wird heuer im deutschen Verlag moloko print erscheinen und einen Umfang von rund 240 Seiten haben. Inhaltlich geht es um das Leben der Ida Maly, einer Malerin. Sie wurde in Hartheim/Linz im Zuge des NS-Euthanasie-Programms ermordet. Die mehr als 130 Originale, überwiegend schwarz-weiße Tuschezeichnungen im Format DIN A2, sollen in Ausstellungen an den Gedenkstätten in Österreich zu sehen sein. Im Zuge der Konzeption für die Präsentation und Präsentationsformen der Graphic Novel ist die Umsetzung des Stoffes als musikdramatisches Hörspiel geplant. Gemeinsam mit der Theatergruppe „Rabtaldirndln“, Monika Klenkel (Hörspiel-Regie) und Michael Eisl und Roman Klug als Komponisten sowie dem Ensemble Schallfeld für die Einspielung wird das musikdramatische Hörspiel der Graphic-Novel-Fassung entstehen. Diese musikdramatische Version wird dann als Multimedia-Ausstellung, als (Radio-)Hörspiel und/oder integriert im E-Book zugänglich gemacht.
