Gedenkfahrt nach Hadersdorf am Kamp und Krems-Stein

 

The Vienna Concentration Camp Association organises an annual journey of remembrance to the Lower Austrian towns of Krems-Stein and Hadersdorf to take part in the remembrance ceremonies held there. The programme consists of a commemorative ceremony at the cemetery in Hadersdorf-Kammern am Kamp, as well as at the cemetery and the prison in Krems-Stein. The project involves a joint coach journey from Vienna, during which Dr Winfried Garscha will give a talk on the locations and the chronology of the crimes committed during the final phase of the war. This will be followed by participation in the two ceremonies, including wreath-laying, and the return journey with further discussion.

Der KZ-Verband Wien organisiert jährlich eine Gedenkfahrt in die niederösterreichischen Orte Krems-Stein und Hadersdorf, um an den dort stattfindenden Gedenkfeiern teilzunehmen. Der Ablauf besteht aus einer Gedenkfeier am Friedhof in Hadersdorf-Kammern am Kamp sowie in Krems/Stein am Friedhof und bei der Justizanstalt. Das Projekt besteht aus einer gemeinsamen Bus-Anreise aus Wien, wobei die Fahrt durch ein Referat von Dr. Winfried Garscha zu den Orten und der Chronologie der Endphaseverbrechen begleitet werden wird. Darauf folgt die Teilnahme an den beiden Feiern samt Kranzniederlegung und die Rückreise mit weiterem Austausch.
