Participation of the Upper Austrian Provincial Association in the remembrance ceremony at the Mauthausen Concentration Camp Memorial

Teilnahme des Landesverbandes Oberösterreich an der Gedenkfeier in der KZ-Gedenkstätte Mauthausen

 

On 10 May 2026, the Upper Austrian Provincial Association will once again take part in the annual commemorative ceremony marking the liberation of the Nazi Mauthausen concentration camp and its satellite camps by US forces, and in memory of the victims. Prior to the official remembrance ceremony, the Upper Austrian Provincial Association will take part in a small gathering at 10 am at the memorial plaque for Richard Bernaschek.

Der Landesverband Oberösterreich nimmt auch heuer am 10.5.2026 an der jährlich stattfindenden Gedenkfeier in Erinnerung an die Befreiung des NS-Konzentrationslagers Mauthausen und seiner Außenlager durch die US-Streitkräfte sowie zum Gedenken an die Opfer teil. Vor der offiziellen Gedenkfeier nimmt der Landesverband Oberösterreich noch um 10 Uhr an einer kleinen Kundgebung bei der Gedenktafel für Richard Bernaschek teil.
