Description
The aim of the project is to produce a new edition of Ceija Stojka’s poems. The publication will be developed in collaboration with the Stojka family and in cooperation with the Ceija Stojka International Association (CSIA), and is intended to reflect the current state of research on Ceija Stojka. The book is to be published by Picus Verlag. The collection of poems will be supplemented by several accompanying texts. Planned contributions include an introduction, one or two pieces by family members, and texts on Ceija Stojka’s writing, the relationship between her diaries and poems, and the interplay between image and text. In addition, one contribution will examine current issues and challenges facing the Roma community. The volume will be rounded off by a chronology and a bibliography of Ceija Stojka’s works.

Ziel des Projekts ist die Neuausgabe der Gedichte von Ceija Stojka. Die Publikation wird gemeinsam mit der Familie Stojka und in Kooperation mit der Ceija Stojka International Association (CSIA) erarbeitet und soll den aktuellen Stand der Forschung zu Ceija Stojka berücksichtigen. Das Buch soll im Picus Verlag erscheinen. Ergänzt wird die Gedichtsammlung durch mehrere Begleittexte. Geplant sind eine Einführung, ein oder zwei Beiträge aus der Familie sowie Texte zu Ceija Stojkas Schreiben, zum Zusammenhang von Tagebüchern und Gedichten sowie zum Verhältnis von Bild und Text. Darüber hinaus soll ein Beitrag aktuelle Themen und Herausforderungen von Rom beleuchten. Abgerundet wird der Band durch eine Zeittafel sowie Literaturhinweise zu den Werken von Ceija Stojka.
