5 February 2005 marked the 5th anniversary of the Oberwart Assassination. Stefan Horvath is the father of one of the victims and recently published a book which was sponsored by the National Fund “I was not in Auschwitz”, published by Edition Liszt 12. He is the first Roma in Burgenland to write the story of the parent generation. In the documentary “Stefan Horvath, gypsy from Oberwart”, he actively confronts the past and the present of the Roma.

Am 5. Februar 2005 jährt sich das Attentat von Oberwart. Stefan Horvath ist der Vater eines Opfers und hat vor kurzem ein Buch herausgegeben, 'Ich war nicht in Auschwitz', erschienen im Verlag Edition Liszt 12, welches vom Nationalfonds gefördert wurde. Er ist der erste Roma des Burgenlands, der über das Schicksal seiner Elterngeneration geschrieben hat. Nun setzt er sich in dem Dokumentationsfilm 'Stefan Horvath, Zigeuner aus Oberwart' aktiv mit der Vergangenheit und Gegenwart der Roma auseinander.
