Presentation of the audio book “Erinnerungen”
Audio book presentation and live-stream event
To mark its 25th anniversary, the National Fund of the Republic of Austria for Victims of National Socialism has brought out its first audio book containing life stories of victims of National Socialism. Mercedes Echerer, Katharina Stemberger, Cornelius Obonya and Tobias Resch have lent their voices to the victims and brought the compelling fates of 14 survivors to life on a double CD. A recording of the composition “Lost and Found” performed by the Gola Accordion Duo and composed by Felix Lee, who survived the Nazi period with his Jewish mother in Vienna, accompanies the listener through the audio book.
