Volume 7 Lives Remembered. "Exile in New Zealand"

Volume 7 of the book series Erinnerungen (“Lives Remembered”) focuses on “Exile in New Zealand” and contains 20 (auto-)biographical memoirs by Austrians whose flight from persecution at the hands of the Nazis took them to New Zealand. The publication consists of two volumes spanning 596 pages and contains a guest contribution by the cultural and social anthropologist and former President of the Austrian-South Pacific Society Margit Wolfsberger, who has explored the subject of Austrian migration to Oceania in the course of several research trips to the country, during which she interviewed many former Austrian Jewish refugees about their exile.
